More highlights from the survey, which is part of the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council's July is National Hot Dog Month campaign: Twenty percent of fans also said they would try to outlast a group of high maintenance people on a desert island if they thought a hot dog barbecue was their reward. A mere 6 percent of fans said they would make a chain of hot dogs and wear them around their neck - for when you must eat and run, of course.
